Pink bathroom trends
As far as trends go, this one is a favourite that has stuck around for a while. Pink bathrooms are becoming extremely popular, partly due to the huge shade variation that the colour comes with. No matter if you are looking for a more subtle look with blush pinks, or a bold statement with fuchsia, there is a pink bathroom look for you.
Monochrome and blush
For those of us that are new to pink styled bathrooms, it may be difficult to introduce that touch of colour. However if monochrome has always been your thing, there is no reason to remove it from your bathroom. Using monochrome as the foundation of your pink bathroom allows you to keep the permanent features such as tiling and flooring and add accessories to soften the room with a cosy atmosphere.
If you’re sure that pink is right for you, tiling is a way to incorporate it in a brilliant way. Laying tiles in different colours and directions can provide a modern and artistic look. Colours that compliment the pink tiles exceptionally include shades of grey (especially with baby pink). This may be in tiling on the walls, or perhaps in other decorations in the room.
If tiling isn’t your style, painting a feature wall in blush pink creates a very modern look. This style works well paired with white vanity and draw sets, accompanied with pink towels and accessories to fully co-ordinate the room. It is advised that if this is done as a feature wall it is away from any ‘wet’ areas of the bathroom such as the shower or sink.
An inexpensive yet effective way to make your bathroom not only homely but splash-proof is timber wall panels. Painting these pink colours allows you to match them to things such as free standing baths, accessories such as towels, and also smaller details such as house plants in similar pink shades.
