At Dragonville Interiors, we recently had the pleasure of designing, building and fitting a beautifully warm and contemporary bespoke kitchen in Durham.
This stunning space features the Alto door range in Matt Taupe, creating a soft, modern finish that feels calm, practical and easy to live with.
The cabinetry is paired with ceramic rust compact laminate worktops, bringing warmth, texture and durability into the kitchen. This hardwearing surface is ideal for everyday use, while adding a more characterful finish to the overall design.
To create a seamless and considered look, the same ceramic rust compact laminate was also used for the full-height splashbacks. This helps the kitchen feel polished and cohesive, while adding depth behind the worktops.
One of the standout features of this project is the bespoke dining table, made from the same worktop material. It ties the kitchen and dining area together beautifully and gives the space a truly tailored feel.
The kitchen is finished with a selection of high-quality appliances, including a Neff N30 induction hob and a Neff N50 built-in Hide & Slide oven in stainless steel.
The sink area includes a Franke Davos J spout tap in chrome, paired with a stainless steel undermount sink for a clean, practical and understated finish.
An anthracite designer radiator adds contrast to the softer taupe tones, bringing a smart contemporary edge to the overall kitchen design.
This project is a fantastic example of how carefully chosen materials can make a kitchen feel both modern and full of warmth.
The combination of Matt Taupe doors, ceramic rust surfaces, integrated appliances and bespoke dining detail came together to create a kitchen that is practical, stylish and personal to the home.
