Ideas for your bathroom in the North East
Bathrooms are the focus of wellbeing in our homes, designing them can be a tricky task. Creating a space that fits out aesthetics and also practicality can be something that takes a huge amount of planning. However, there are a few easy tricks that can shorten and make your planning stress-free, creating your dream bathroom with advice from us.
A modern bathroom
If a modern bathroom is something that you are looking for, there are a few staple pieces that can help you along the way. If space is available, free-standing tubs can add character to the room. Try pairing with white tiles to boost the modern look alongside providing a larger bath for usage.
If adding colour is your thing, artificial plants can be the perfect pop of colour. If you’re looking for something more abstract, pair tiled with painted walls of colour. Navy blue is holding popularity at the minute, however, any colour you desire can work, adding your own personal touch.
Traditional bathrooms
If modern bathrooms are not for you, perhaps something more traditional is better fitting. When designing a traditional bathroom, the introduction of wooden beams or wooden features can be ideal. A popular way to incorporate this is in shelving and storage units. A large sink basin with storage beneath keeps the bathroom traditional and also very practical.
Small bathrooms
For those who have a smaller space to work with, there are still endless possibilities for your bathroom. A small space does not have to look cluttered. Utilising all wall space is essential, this can include elevating bathroom radiators, cabinets, and mirrors. This leaves a huge amount of free wall space that can be used to install a bath or shower. If you cannot fit a shower and a bath into the room and cannot choose which one is preferred, perhaps opt for installing a shower head above the bath.
