Minimalist bathrooms are a favourite among many, and not for no reason. The basic colour scheme and furniture choices allow illusion of a larger interior, making it perfect for smaller bathrooms in particular. Alongside the spacious look, minimalist bathrooms can create a cleaner look as more lights reflects around the room with a more simple colour scheme. If a basic colour scheme and a lack of furniture feels a bit too bland for you, try adding wooden decorations, this could be draws, flower pots a small table for alongside the bath, to add an expensive finish and the definition to the room you desire.
Dark coloured bathrooms
If the minimalist look isn’t for you, maybe the opposite will do. A dark themed bathroom creates a sophisticated and classy look, the dark colours work alongside colour scheme and allow them to pop even more! Bring striking yellows, pinks and blues (or any of your favourite colours) into the room through towels and decor to contrast with the black tiling and flooring to draw attention to your colour scheme, rather than just the room. If an all black bathroom isn’t for you, perhaps pair it alongside white, a monochrome bathroom presents a vintage look, perfect for keeping up with the trends with a bathroom that never goes out of style.
A little bit of colour never hurt anyone! Or any bathroom for that case, if you love a colourful home your bathroom isn’t something that should be excluded. Pastel colours work especially well with lighter bathrooms, bold and bright schemes with dark. Matching bathroom accessories such as basket draws could be colourful to match; alongside plants, mirror lights and towels to add finishing touches of colour. Pastel colour tiling can also make your rooms colour pop in a more subtle way, this could act as a single wall of colour of around your whole room, both of which adding colour without appearing too bold.
