What is an example of complementary colours when considering a new kitchen?
Complementary colour schemes for the ktichen generally consist of various groups of colours which emphasise each other. These tend to be ones at the opposite end of the colour wheel, for example red and green.
Red and green is a good example of a complementary colour pair, however this extends way beyond basic or original tones. As there are many different shades and of red, from pale pink to deep maroon, which can complement all the shades of green, from soft pine to dark forest green.
