Lift things away from the floor.
When we think of kitchen appliances such as a dishwasher or an oven, we usually associate their placement on the floor. However, placing them higher up can have many benefits. Not only will you have storage space beneath for items less used, you’ll that unloading and loading things in and out much easier. For families that have children in the house, having the oven slightly more raised can prevent nasty burns to curious children by placing it out of their reach. Not only can it make your kitchen more convenient and safe, it brings a modern look to your room that can be customised however you wish.
Create an appliance feature wall.
If your kitchen has the space to be able to have all your appliances against one wall, it may be something worth looking into. This may include having your. Oven, microwave, fried and freezer all against one wall. This can keep all of the cooking aspects of the kitchen to one side and separate it from a dining area. A kitchen island can be an ideal addition to this deign as it leave more spec on the other walls of the room, making it feel more open, making a kitchen island perfect to fill space. Not only this, but having all appliances on one wall saves tricky electrical installation with easier wiring for your electrician to fit.
Move your washing machine elsewhere.
It may seem strange at first not having your washing machine in the kitchen f its where it has been your whole life, however moving it to a room such as the bathroom can free up huge spaces for other kitchen essential to avoid cramping the room. In order to move this to the bathroom, it must be at least 3m away from the shower and bath, therefore this idea may be best for larger bathrooms or ones without this feature. If moving the washing machine is something you feel would improve your kitchen but you do not have the bathroom space, a garage may also be an alternative, or perhaps a spare bedroom.
Move your microwave from a bench top.
Microwaves have more often seen as a bench top appliance, however installation at eye level can free up huge amounts of space. Not only this it keeps it away from children in family homes and allows you to keep a meter watch on food that is cooking within it.
